Jacob Pimentel, who was indicted on four counts of bank robbery, is already serving time for a related offense in Middlesex County, the office said on Monday, Aug. 29.
According to a new indictment, Pimentel allegedly stole more than $6,000 from four banks in Allston, Brighton, Brookline and Cambridge between April and May 2022. He was eventually apprehend in late May, according to a Facebook post from Brookline police.
Pimentel could face up to 20 years in prison, up to fives years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000 if convicted. He will appear in federal court in Boston at a later date, the office said.
